For those of you that have been touched by the unconditional love and unwavering companionship of a special pet, the thought of caring for an eventually losing your best friend can become a stressful, sad realization.
Unfortunately, the subject of proper care and understanding for a senior must be addressed. As an avid pet lover, I have often thought of how sad it i the fact that the average life expectancy of our beloved pets is but a mear 7-12 years. We may be blessed with a few more years of friendship depending upon the breed, genetics, pet nutrition, environmental factors, heredity factors and most importantly, your pets weight.
