Ok, Today lets talk about something that everyone dreads, especially women, of all ages and that over 50% of women have...What I’m talking about is Cellulite! It doesn’t matter who you are, anyone can have cellulite some where on their body. It doesn’t even matter if you are a celebrity- as one of the latest issues of Star Magazine has proved on the front cover...you can’t miss it; "Celebs who BEAT CELLULITE!"
There have been so many countless articles written about this affliction to a woman's body, yet the actual cure remains so elusive to all of us. There are specially high priced spa treatments, gels, creams and lotions all promising to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Pick up any Health/Fitness magazine today - especially during the summer months, and you will be sure to find plenty of articles dedicated to cellulite and of course ways to reduce or get rid of it! The cures that are suggested are endless, from herbal teas to flush out toxins, to specially formulated Supplement Packs by Murad that come in a months supply. Along with Biotherm Celluli-Peel and also their new Celluli Night Patch; My mother Dori has personally tried the products by Murad and Biotherm and has found them to be very effective. All of this, of course is not inexpensive, however, with constant exercise- at least 3 days a week or more depending on your schedule, consisting of 30 – 45 minutes of cardio plus weight training you will be on your way to seeing results!
Also, you should try to drink as close to 100 ounces of water a day as you can...I know that sounds like a lot, but its so great for you and really flushes out your body. Once you get used to it, it's not hard to do at all. On top of water, I love to drink at least 2 cups of unsweetened green tea a day. I really did to not like the taste of green tea, but since the spring I have started drinking it daily – I brew my tea, let it cool and then I put it over ice….its so refreshing and gives you great energy! Try to stay away from sweet drinks and sodas with lots of sugar in them. There are so many drinks to choose from now, it’s not hard to find one that tastes great plus has either little or no sugar in it!
Now about the food! The trick is to try and keep your diet as pure as possible. You should try to eat as little processed or fast food, replacing your meals and snacks everyday with fresh salads, vegetables, fiber rich foods, fresh fruit and lean meats – for example, fresh fish, chicken and turkey.
The secret here is really no secret at all. There are no amazing over night cures for cellulite. It is however, possible to eliminate these stubborn fat cells from your legs and derriere if you commit to a healthier lifestyle, weekly exercise regime and a pure change in your diet. Then once you make all those lifestyle changes that would be the time to incorporate all the wonderful creams and products available to help you rid your body of cellulite once and for all!
