Argireline:
Argireline is a newly developed, safer alternative to Botox ™. Unlike Botox ™, Argireline is not derived from a poison, but from amino acids that occur naturally. You don't have to get it from a physician because there's no need for it to be injected and it's not potentially dangerous in the way that Botox ™ is. Evening Primrose Oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose plant (Oenothera biennis), whose name refers to the fact that its flowers open in the evening. Evening primrose grows in parts of North America, Europe and Asia. Native Americans and early European colonists used evening primrose root to treat such conditions as hemorrhoids, stomachaches, sore throat, and bruises. We now know that Evening Primrose Oil contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Your body converts GLA into prostaglandins. While prostaglandins can either increase or reduce inflammation, the prostaglandins produced from GLA are anti-inflammatory, helping to prevent reddening and scarring of the skin. The fatty acids in Evening Primrose Oil replace acids lost by the body that the body can't regenerate properly on its own. In this way, Evening Primrose Oil helps maintain the shape and texture of the skin, working to prevent wrinkles and limiting the effects of skin aging. Evening Primrose Oil also has a relaxing effect on the skin. Research also indicates that GLA works to prevent or in some cases reverse nerve damage from diabetes and reduces blood lipid concentrations, which is valuable in controlling cholesterol levels. GLA is essential for the health of cell membranes, and has been associated with benefits in treating premenstrual syndrome, joint pain from rheumatoid arthritis, eczema, acne and lupus. Hyaluronic Acid:
Hyaluronic Acid is found naturally in the connective tissues of your body, where it acts as a lubricant. This lubricating quality is important in several respects. It's absolutely necessary for proper functioning of the joints, valves and eyes, and for maintaining the shape of the skin. Not surprisingly, large amounts of Hyaluronic Acid are found in healthy skin. This function with the skin is probably related to the fact that skin has three levels that need to be properly connected to one another. Hyaluronic Acid has been found to help maintain healthy collagen and to keep the skin moisturized. Reduced levels of Hyaluronic Acid are associated with a wide range of diseases, including premature wrinkling, osteoarthritis, Marfan syndrome and detached retinas. At the same time, there is evidence that people with high levels of Hyaluronic Acid suffer less from the effects of aging that most people do.

Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten and Ceratonia siliqua:
Wheat Gluten is a complex of proteins derived from the central part of a grain of wheat. Hydrolyzing it cuts up the Wheat Gluten into smaller sections that can be used more easily. Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten is a noted moisturizer on its own. It is most important, though, in combination with carob (Ceratonia siliqua), also known as locust bean. Carob has long been used in the Mediterranean world for its many medicinal properties, including strong antitoxin effects. When combined, Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten and carob have been found to be an unusually effective natural skin tightener because of their ability first to form a permeable film on the skin, and then to evaporate, producing a lasting tightening effect.

Idebenone:
An antioxidant naturally produced in your body called Co-Enzyme Q10, also known as Ubidecarenone, has been studied widely in relation to its anti-aging effects on the skin and within the body. Co-Enzyme Q10 works in the lipid (fatty) membranes of your body. It helps in the working of your cell mitochondria, which provide the energy you need to live and thrive. Co-Enzyme Q10 also helps in the recovery from disasters such as heart attacks, strokes and trauma to the body, and in resisting conditions such as Alzheimer's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Co-Enzyme Q10's antioxidant properties mean that it helps protect you from the free radicals that damage your skin and contribute to aging, not only of the skin, but of the brain and nervous system. Further studies have shown that making a slight change to Co-Enzyme Q10 makes it even more safe and effective for use on your skin and elsewhere. This improved form of Co-Enzyme Q10 is called Idebenone. Although Co-Enzyme Q10 is an important antioxidant, under certain conditions its action backfires and causes new free radicals to be formed. After 15 years of extensive research, we now know that Idebenone produces all the benefits of Co-Enzyme Q10 without causing this "backfire" effect. Pentacare NA®:
Pentacare NA is a new skin tightener that has been developed to deal with the need for a substitute for serum albumen. Serum albumen, commonly extracted from cow's blood, has been used in many skin products. As anyone knows who's paid attention to the news, cow's blood is not the safest source of products to use on our bodies, even granted that mad cow disease is mostly strongly associated with cattle nervous systems. Furthermore, serum albumen has been known to cause crumbling of the skin. Pentacare NA is derived entirely from plants such as carob and wheat that are safe to use as foods and not associated with "mad anything" disease, so it's danger free. Pentacare NA also has been tested and found not to cause skin crumbling. In other words, it's as good a skin tightener as serum albumen, but has none of the disadvantages.

Shea Butter:
Shea Butter is derived from the nut of the karite tree of West Africa, where it is commonly used in soap. Shea Butter is a natural moisturizer and skin tightener. It contains cinnamic acid, which helps protect your skin against ultraviolet light. It also includes natural latex, which has hypoallergenic qualities. The fatty acids in Shea Butter, along with the other ingredients, promote healing and regeneration of the skin, and work to prevent the skin from drying, cracking, burning and wrinkling. Shea Butter traditionally has been used to treat rheumatism and colds as well as the skin.

Skin Tightener ST®:
The benefits on skin of marine products such as kelp have long been known. Skin Tightener ST® includes both marine and herbal ingredients that enhance the synthesis of collagen I and III and of fibronectin, firming up the skin and reducing wrinkles. Squalene a natural antioxidant found in your skin. Vitamin A:

Vitamin A penetrates the skin effectively to reinforce collagen and elastin, firming the skin and counteracting wrinkles. It also works to improve skin pigmentation by eliminating aging spots. Because Vitamin A helps the skin and epithelial cells to stay healthy, it is extremely important in preventing the many infections that can be caused by damage to these cells, and in maintaining the mucous membrane and preventing digestive problems. Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight different forms. Each form is active and useful in the body in its own way. Alpha Tocopheryl is the most active form of Vitamin E in humans, and is a powerful antioxidant. Because skin is high in unsaturated fatty acids, which are especially susceptible to free radical damage, it can benefit from vitamin E protection. Vitamin E also can increase the effects of other antioxidants.

What causes wrinkles?
A variety of factors. Free radicals, ultraviolet and visible light, and pollutants, like smog and cigarette smoke, all shrink and thin the cells that give our skin shape and hold it firm. The effects of damaging factors are cumulative. Over time, our skin loses its ability to hold its shape and firmness. The sad result is wrinkles. Moving the skin, and gravity make the problem that much worse.

When do wrinkles start?
There's no fixed age. Different people are susceptible to wrinkles to different degrees depending on their heredity and lifestyles. Unfortunately, no one is immune to wrinkles forever.

Will getting a facelift solve my problem with wrinkles?
No. Facelifts don't solve anything. By cutting away some of your skin, they produce a temporary, very unnatural tightening effect. Sometimes the surgery goes terribly wrong. Even when it doesn't, you come out of it with bruises everywhere. Your face doesn't really look young, it just looks stiff. Assuming you're satisfied, you'll need to do it again down the line, for as long as you can handle it. Not to mention, for as long as you can pay for it, because facelifts cost. Do you think that's a solution?

Will Botox injections solve my problem with wrinkles?
Botox does nothing directly to the wrinkles at all. It's just a filler to try to smooth things out. It also paralyzes some of your facial muscles, the idea being that if you can't move your face, you won't produce wrinkles that way. They make Botox from poison, Botulism toxin, specifically for that paralyzing effect. When Botox works the way it's supposed to, the effect lasts only a few months. Then you have to pay the doctor to inject you some more. When it doesn't work the way it's supposed to, you get wrinkles later on and your face may be paralyzed forever. How much of a solution is that.

Will skin peels solve my wrinkle problem?
This uncomfortable process is another one that you have to do, and pay for, over and over. When it works, it leaves you all red. When it doesn't work, and the peeling gets below the surface of the skin, it can scar you for life. What kind of a solution is that?
